Today I have a special treat for you. A dear friend who hails from a distant planet is joining us for lunch. Her name is Dottie and she spends all of her time watching and observing our planet and its people. She will be “Popping” in from time to time (pun intended) to share her thoughts with us.
Let’s prepare lunch for Dottie and listen to what she has on her mind. Today we will be creating a delicious Mac n’ Cheese baked casserole. You will need 1 (8 ounce) package of elbow macaroni, 2 tablespoons butter, ½ pound Cheddar cheese- sliced, 2 cups milk, 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon salt, paprika to taste and 1/8 teaspoon black pepper.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and butter a 2 quart casserole dish.
Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil. Add salt and macaroni and cook until al dente.
Drain macaroni and transfer to the casserole dish. Lay cheese slices over macaroni and sprinkle with paprika.
Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add milk and flour stirring until it thickens. Stir in salt and pepper and pour mixture over macaroni and cheese.
Bake for about 30 minutes.
Hello, everyone, I’m Dottie. I thank you for welcoming me into your “family” and preparing such a wonderful lunch. I just returned from a fact-finding mission in the state of Texas. Something very strange is going on over there that I believe you should be made aware of.
The Texas public schools have been using an online curriculum called CSCOPE. Up until recently the content of this program was kept secret from parents by design. In fact, teachers were not allowed to reveal the program’s curriculum to parents under penalty of law. By now, you should all be losing your appetites.
Let me share a few little nuggets from this program. Students are being taught that the Boston Tea Party was an act of terrorism, but that September 11th, was carried out by freedom fighters. Here is another hideous lesson from the program, “Christians are cannibals.”
And now for the topping on this ugly cake, female students were asked to wear burqas to class!
Parents and legislators are finally looking into this unspeakable program, but I am at a loss to understand what is taking them so long. This curriculum has to be stopped and time is definitely of the essence. The children are being brainwashed. Even an alien like me can see it. By the way my hair turned pink right after my visit to Texas and those hearts you see circling my head are little protector angels. Life on your planet can be very complicated. Until we meet again, remember that the price of freedom is eternal vigilance....
