Let us get some things straight here with regard to this advertisement. First, and foremost, Obama does not have a plan to help the middle-class. That has been his claim since he began running for the high office of president yet not one thing he has done since taking office has actually helped the so-called middle-class. To the contrary, everything he has done has hurt the so-called middle class in some fashion. So, the entire foundation of this advertisement I refer to is based solely on a lie.
Next, let us as Americans be clear on something else pointed out in this advertisement…there is no class system in the United States of America. By reference, Obama’s use of the term is insulting. There is no one charged with the responsibility of creating, managing, or sustaining a class-system in this country and anyone who makes any attempt to assign you to a class-system is simply using a well-known propaganda tool to gain a greater control over your mind.
The only basis to segregate Americans into any silos or bins is simply the “statistical numbers” which are dug out by researchers. Yes, you may well be in that portion of Americans who earn a “middle income” somewhere between what is considered wealthy and the defined dollar amount which is considered the poverty line. That and only that number positions you and others as a middle-income wage-earner. Still, that has absolutely nothing to do with a class-system. Therefore, when Obama says that he wants to help the Middle Class, he is referring to a “non-existent group. Essentially, he is employing propaganda to gain an audience.
If you embrace the class-system approach, then you also must embrace the concept that the only way one can get into a class of people is to “have a slot open up”. Marx and his socialist promoters loved the idea of creating “limits and boundaries” on every aspect of life such that any success which one person enjoyed always came at the expense of another. Opportunity like pizza was defined and limited in scope thus one had to take from someone else to gain a leg up in the system. On that basis, when we as Americans embrace any thinking toward a “class-system” we are helping to promote progressive thinking toward a socialist system.
As is the case with Obama, this advertisement leaves the listener thinking that those on the right want to suppress people and hold them back from the wonderful things which Mr. Obama has waiting for them in his Utopian world. The ad suggests to the low-information voter that those on the Right stand for nothing except opposition. By insinuating that the Right has no ideas, the ad suggests that the Right stands only to oppose. Here again we have a total distortion of what is actually going on in our government today.
Obama is a big government proponent who believes that the government should be everything to everybody and control their lives to the most minute’ of details. Government cannot get too big for him, and, on that basis, anyone, especially those on the Right, who promote the concept of “less government” and less intervention are simply against something and not for anything. The fact of the matter is conservatives are for smaller and less government…quite a simple concept to understand in my opinion.
Of course, we cannot blame all of this misery of the past five years on Obama. No, we have to lay some blame at the feet of those on the Right. In effect, Obama has been more than successful with many of his programs because those on the Right have not stood up for what conservative Americans believe; they have not represented their constituency; nor have they raised their voice publicly to decry the potential tyranny taking place under this despot of a president. Instead, they have too often gone along to get along. In reality, we really do not see a lot of difference between the Republicans and the Democrats in Washington when it comes to sustaining the status quo in terms of operating an out of control federal government.
Both sides continue to want a large federal machine with great amounts of power. At the same time, both seem to want to totally erase the concept of States Rights from the vocabulary of our nation. Each bit of legislation which comes through the Congress now in some fashion tends to chisel away at the powers of the States and, in turn, at the powers and rights of the individuals. In a nutshell, that is truly Obama’s reason to exist and he has been quite successful in moving his agenda forward with or without the media dressing up his pigs and putting lipstick on them.
America is a nation rapidly being divorced from the concepts of morals, ethics, humanity, and the success of the common man. Instead, our education system teaches our children that America is an ugly place filled with greed and a love for war. The system teaches them that all things can be achieved through tolerance. The more things we tolerate as a society, the more peace and understanding the world will have which will allow us all to move forward toward “one world”.
We see this decay of our nation carried out on the back of political correctness. We are now a society more concerned with being politically-correct than truthful. We are more willing to embrace propaganda and lies than we are to see the reality of the truth…or to even search for it. We have become a nation willing to reward a politician like Obama, and many others around him, for distorting the truth if not outright lying to us as to our future and the political cancer which is consuming us as a nation. We are being blindly led down an erroneous path and yet so many of us follow along so willingly thinking that Utopia is just over the next hill…the one to which Obama is pointing. The only thing standing in the way of America doing the “right thing” is sheer ignorance and the perpetuation of it. Propaganda is a favored staple of the ignorance diet.
