Rumor has it that an ad was placed on Craigslist and, for about the same amount as you would get flipping burgers under Bernie Sander’s new minimum wage, you'd be shuttled off to Mr. Trump’s rally to protest for three or four hours. Rumor also has it that this enterprise was funded by none other than George Soros and/or Moveon.org and/or the Clinton camp. Apparently, the purpose of bringing outside agitators in was to shut down Trump’s rally before it even began and to blame Trump. That’s right. The sheer evilness of Trump made them do it—they had no choice. Of course, some protesters also made a show of righteously waving the Mexican flag as if saving America from a bigoted scoundrel like Trump. This is probably not an uncommon sight in California since the Latino population surpassed the white population back in 2014.
The Left would like nothing better than for the Republicans to face conditions similar to those of the Democrat Convention of 1968. The difference between the protesters then and those of today is that the demonstrators of ’68 were mostly for real. They had watched LBJ and the Democrats fully embroil the USA in the war in Vietnam and they were angry. Today, those in the street throwing punches, bottles, eggs, etc. are not angry about anything in particular, just able to be bought and given carte blanche to do pretty much whatever they want. The fact that our current president has offered no commentary on the increasing violence is a clear indication of his tacit approval and perhaps hope that the turmoil will continue. But this should come as no surprise—the man is a community organizer fully schooled in the art of creating disruption to advance a cause.
If reasonable thinking Americans, regardless of political affiliation, use their brains and actually think for themselves instead of allowing the media to frame their thoughts, they will quickly conclude that this chaos and violence is totally fabricated and it certainly is not Donald Trump doing the fabricating. After all, Mr. Trump enjoys being on the stage, why would he incite riots that shut his own rallies down? The impetus must be coming from a corner that relishes the idea of getting Hillary Clinton to the White House at any cost—just like they got Barack Obama there. One does not have to look too far before it becomes clear that the hand of George Soros and George Soros-funded organizations are at play.
When George Soros was interviewed at age 68 about being a 14-year old Jewish boy in Nazi Germany, he said he had no regrets about passing as a Christian and helping to confiscate property from fellow Jews. He said, in effect, his character was formed then, and it was like the “market”—if he didn’t do it, someone else would. This gives you a measure of the man. Any candidate that Soros can buy—such as Obama or Clinton—will be the beneficiary of his funding as long as they sell out America to the Socialist cause.
This street violence and the attempt to connect it to Donald Trump should by all rights be recognized for what it is—a dangerous, phony scheme. It should backfire on the Left as they turn their heads and refuse to address the thugs threatening Trump supporters. Meanwhile, Clinton is working overtime trying to get out the vote in California so that she can claim that she is on solid ground there compared to Trump who seems to attract violence wherever he goes.
For the time being, Donald Trump’s ability to draw huge, diverse crowds seems undiminished, while the same organic, grassroots excitement is nonexistent for Hillary Clinton; her crowds are far more contained and predictable. The immediate cure for that bland optic is to attempt to disrupt Trump events and, with the help of the media, to depict them as too dangerous to attend. Of course the Clinton camp will deny that any such unseemly maneuver has occurred to them, while at the same time primly pointing out that if you elect Trump president there will be more of the same.
I, for one, simply do not believe that a majority of Americans will buy into that hooey. I also believe that any effort to derail Trump will only result in greater momentum for him. The American voters are angry. Somehow Hillary Clinton hasn’t figured out that it is she—and those political hacks like her—who have provoked it.
